Ken Mickey

Joining the JYA Team this year teaching Woodshop and Video Production, Mr. Ken Mickey has an A.A.S. in Audio Recording and over 20 years teaching experience. Ken worked for over twenty years in a local independent school in the theater program, with sound, lighting, and set/scenery construction. Ken also has experience in teaching guitar and providing music opportunities for high school students to perform and entertain at school and in the community. In his free time, he enjoys canoeing and spending time with his wife and two daughters.  With over 40 years of performing experience as a guitarist/songwriter, you may occassionally catch him assisting others in live music opportunities.
