Admissions Information

tpsbuildingWe happily schedule tours on an individual basis as requested. Tours are led by a member of our Administration team. The Piedmont School is located at 815 Old Mill Road, High Point, NC 27265 and is convenient to I-40 and Highway 311. 

The Piedmont School knows that tuition can be a daunting thought for many. We also know how important it is for families to find the appropriate educational environment for their child. With this in mind, The Piedmont School does have a tuition assistance program that offers some assistance to current and new families who qualify.

State Grants and Tuition Assistance

The state of North Carolina offers two grants to help families considering private education. The Disabilities Grant Program expands school choice in North Carolina through scholarship grants for eligible children in kindergarten through 12th grade. The Disabilities Grant program provides funding of up to $8,000 per year to help parents pay qualified expenses for children with disabilities who attend school in an eligible setting. For more information on the Disabilities Grant please visit http://www.ncseaa.edu/CDSG.htm The Opportunity Scholarship Program expands school choice in North Carolina through scholarship grants for eligible children in kindergarten through 12th grade. This program provides funding of up to $4,200 per year for eligible children who choose to attend a participating nonpublic school. For more information on the Opportunity Scholarship please visit http://www.ncseaa.edu/OSG.htm The Piedmont School does offer some need based tuition assistance. You can apply through FAST here. It is recommended that you apply for tuition assistance only if you intend to complete the admissions process (see steps below). 

Admissions Steps:

admissionsteps- Fill out an application either online or by requesting a paper application from the school. 

- Complete all pieces requested including, parent statement, teacher recommendation, professional recommendation, medical information, etc. All pieces must be turned in before application can be complete. 

- Pay the $100 application fee (non-refundable). 

Once all pieces of the application are in we will schedule a visit day with you for your child. All applying students must spend one day visiting us before an official acceptance can be made. 

**JYA (9th-12th grade) students will also have an interview scheduled between the student and members of the high school team.
