Karen Holt

Karen Holt serves as the Director of Finance at The Piedmont School, bringing more than 30 years of experience in accounting and over 25 years as a business owner. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from GTCC and earned her Professional Bookkeeper and QuickBooks Specialist certifications from Universal Accounting School in Draper, Utah. Before joining The Piedmont School, Karen spent twelve years as CFO for distribution company in Greensboro, NC, and has served as Director of Finance for nonprofit, independent schools since 2022.

In addition to her role at The Piedmont School, Karen is Treasurer of the Kernersville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, where she also serves on the Finance Committee and Board, and she contributes her expertise to the Finance Committee of Tri-City Christian Academy in High Point, NC.

Karen is a widow and the proud mother of two young adults, Cassidy and Dacyn, and grandmother to David and Josephine. She enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.
