JYA Math
Chris Petty is a native of the High Point/Trinity area having lived here for 41 years. He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he completed his B.A. degree in elementary education K-6. Chris is also a holder of an Associate's degree in Architecture from Guilford Technical Community College. Coming into his 11th year of teaching, Chris has previously worked in the public school setting both at a county school and a charter school. Married for five years and proud father of a four-year-old, he spends his free time playing sports and having fun with his family. He is excited to work with our awesome JYA students once again this year!
