Melissa Linn joined the TPS family in 2016 as our first full-time school counselor. Melissa comes to The Piedmont School with 11 years of experience in counseling in public and charter schools in our area. Melissa holds a B.A. from East Carolina University in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling from UNC-Charlotte and is nationally certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Melissa has an eleven-year-old daughter, a six-year old son, and a wonderful husband of nine years. She enjoys running and spending time with her family! Her true passion is working with children and she loves to see students learn and grow not only academically but emotionally and socially throughout the year.
