Cindy Fullerton is returning to The Piedmont School with 34 years of teaching experience. She began her teaching career in Wilkesboro, North Carolina and later moved to Chatham County. Cindy earned a Master’s Degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree from Salem College in Winston Salem. In addition, she is a National Board Certified Teacher in Middle Grades Education. During her career she has served on many committees, taught learning workshops and written curriculum in the content areas of math and science. She has taught in various classroom settings and is driven to help students overcome barriers that impact their learning. Cynthia is an avid UNC fan and enjoys attending football and basketball games as well as traveling, hiking, kayaking, attending concerts, and dancing. Ms. Fullerton also enjoys spending time with daughters Brooke and Savannah and her three grandchildren Ryan, Paige Hayden.
