JYA History
Jane has been teaching at TPS since 2001. She holds certifications in Learning Disabilities and in Social Studies from Salem College and a degree in Education and History from Mars Hill University. She has received additional training in Holocaust Education as well as Teaching with Primary Sources. This year she is teaching JYA History and Civics. A native of Winston-Salem, she now lives in Clemmons with her two very spoiled cats. Jane has one son, Curt, daughter-in-law, Amanda, seven-year-old granddaughter Reese and three-year-old twins Claire and Grant. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the piano, cooking, travel, reading, volunteer mission work, and spending time with family and friends.
