Cameron Prevatte

Cameron Prevatte is an artist, educator, and activist living in Greensboro, NC. A graduate of UNC Greensboro and UNC School of the Arts, he grounds his lessons in traditional conservatory-style artist training while also fostering each student’s own creative process and artistic flexibility. He has performed with the NC Shakespeare Festival, The NC Theatre for Young People, and Paperhand Puppet Intervention to name a few. He has taught at The Greensboro Children’s Museum and Edible Schoolyard, UNCSA, Artists Reaching Children in the Hospital (ARCH), The ArtsCenter in Carrboro, and many others. Mr. Prevatte spends his time creating puppets, masks, and original theatre works with his awesome life-partner Devon Currie and his two dogs, Ava and Beau. He is excited to add his artistry to the already overflowing wealth of educational possibilities that The Piedmont School has to offer.
